About the Role
Salt is hiring a Design Systems Designer for a 2-month contract (extendable) in Dubai with occasional travel to Abu Dhabi. The role involves supporting the growth of an enterprise Design System, creating reusable components and documentation, and collaborating with product, UX/UI, and engineering teams.

- Support the growth and evolution of the enterprise Design System to meet expanding business and product needs
- Create, maintain, and enhance reusable components, design tokens, documentation, and design standards
- Ensure consistency across digital channels, including mobile applications, internet banking, web platforms, and email experiences
- Collaborate with internal product, UX/UI, and engineering teams, as well as external design agencies
- Help establish best practices, governance, and quality standards for Design System adoption
- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design components
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency across digital experiences
- Contribute to design reviews and promote accessibility and user centered design principles
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX, Product Design, or Design Systems
- Hands on experience building or maintaining enterprise Design Systems
- Previous experience within banking, financial services, or fintech
