Job Description

  • You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement.
  • The work location for this role is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, when the work location will change to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway.

Business Overview

  • The role serves as the Canadian extension of Fidelity International’s Global Market Data function, supporting market data governance, administration, vendor management, compliance, reporting, and cost optimization.

What You Will Do

  • Market Data Governance & Vendor Management: Manage relationships with market data vendors including Bloomberg, LSEG, MSCI, FactSet, S&P, and Moody’s.
  • Market Data Administration & Operations: Oversee day to day market data administration activities, including onboarding/offboarding, entitlement management, invoice validation, inventory maintenance, and usage monitoring.
  • Stakeholder Support & Business Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders by providing mentorship on market data solutions.
  • Financial Management, Compliance & Reporting: Support budgeting and forecasting through market data usage and spend analysis.
  • Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement: Serve as the primary escalation point for market data service issues.

What You Will Bring

  • University degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of market data experience within the financial services industry.
  • Good understanding of market data products, including terminals, real time and reference data, indices, ratings, research platforms, licensing models, and governance practices.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and service performance.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and cost optimization capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Exposure to audit, risk, or regulatory environments.

Professional Certifications

  • Preferred FISD, IMC, or other relevant market data or financial services certifications.
