About the Role
MSD is hiring a Market Access Manager to develop and execute market access strategies for pharmaceutical and vaccine portfolios. You will lead pricing and reimbursement submissions, engage with payers, and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement market access strategies for in line products and new launches to achieve favorable pricing, reimbursement, and formulary inclusion
- Define evidence based access pathways, pricing frameworks, and execution plans aligned with payer expectations
- Support new product planning activities up to 24 months pre launch, including competitive landscape analysis and access risk assessment
- Lead and execute pricing and reimbursement submissions, including preparation of value dossiers, BIA, HEOR components, and payer materials
- Conduct pricing analyses such as international reference pricing, benchmarking, and scenario modeling
- Contribute to tender strategies, contracting approaches, and access negotiations
- Develop and execute engagement plans with private insurers, TPAs, and private provider networks
- Partner with Medical Affairs and HEOR teams to identify and develop health economic and real world evidence
- Conduct stakeholder mapping and develop engagement strategies with payers, HTA bodies, policy makers, and hospitals
- Work cross functionally with Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, and Regional/Global Market Access teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health Economics, Public Health, Medicine, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 2 3 years of experience in Market Access, HEOR, Pricing & Reimbursement, or broader pharmaceutical industry experience with access exposure
- Demonstrated experience supporting pricing/reimbursement submissions and product launches strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of local healthcare systems, pricing reimbursement processes, and payer decision making
- Solid analytical skills including ability to interpret health economic, clinical, and real world data
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and project management skills
- Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and presentation tools; strong written and spoken English

Job Description
- Develop and execute market access strategies to ensure timely, sustainable patient access to pharmaceutical and vaccine portfolio.
- Ensure optimal pricing, reimbursement, and formulary positioning by translating evidence into value propositions.
- Partner closely with Medical, HEOR, Regulatory, Policy, Marketing, and Regional/Global Market Access teams.
Key Responsibilities Market Access Strategy Execution
- Develop and implement market access strategies for in line products and new launches.
- Define evidence based access pathways, pricing frameworks, and execution plans.

Pricing, Reimbursement Dossier Management
- Lead and execute pricing and reimbursement submissions.
- Conduct pricing analyses including international reference pricing and scenario modeling.
- Contribute to tender strategies and access negotiations.
- Monitor pricing regulations and reimbursement policies.
Insurance Private Payer Access
- Develop engagement plans with private insurers, TPAs, and private provider networks.
- Assess private payer decision drivers and identify access barriers.
- Prepare payer focused value materials.
- Monitor evolving insurance regulations and private sector reimbursement dynamics.
Health Economics Evidence Generation
- Partner with Medical Affairs and HEOR teams to develop health economic and real world evidence.
- Support local adaptation of economic models and development of manuscripts.
- Translate complex data into payer focused value messages.
Stakeholder Policy Engagement
- Conduct stakeholder mapping and develop engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with Policy/External Affairs to shape pricing and reimbursement environment.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders.
Cross Functional Leadership Governance
- Work cross functionally with Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, and Regional/Global Market Access teams.
- Lead or contribute to cross functional launch teams and governance forums.
- Track market access KPIs and continuously improve performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health Economics, Public Health, Medicine, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 2 3 years of experience in Market Access, HEOR, Pricing & Reimbursement, or broader pharmaceutical industry experience with access exposure.
