Role Overview
Perform integrity and engineering assessments for marine terminal facilities and operations.
The role covers marine terminal structures, berthing, mooring, fenders, and related components.
Responsibilities
- Assess marine terminal facilities, including berthing and mooring facilities.
- Perform operational and fitness for service assessments.
- Support risk management and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide repair scopes after structural assessments.
- Interpret drawings, design calculations, inspection data, and degradation documents.
- Assign damage classes and perform failure probability and consequence assessments.
- Coordinate customers with regional and global technical teams.
- Develop innovative engineering solutions and methodologies.
Education and Experience
- Relevant education includes marine structures, ocean or coastal engineering, offshore structures, dredging and harbour engineering, or structural engineering.
- 1–3 years of relevant industry experience is required.
- Experience with oil and gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial assets is required.
- Experience with marine terminals, coastal structures, ports, harbours, berthing, or mooring is required.
