Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor Marine Operations carried out by and on behalf of the company
- Ensure operations comply with international codes, classification society, flag state, local regulations, and company procedures
- Contribute to marine crew, watercraft & contractor vetting and monitoring program
- Support Marine Incident Investigations and reporting processes
- Support contract management and ensure vessels and owners comply with procedural and contractual requirements
- Support operational changes and deliver solutions to improve efficiency and reliability
- Participate in industry forums related to marine operations
Requirements
- Master Mariner, Chief Engineer, Marine Warranty Surveyor, Merchant Naval Officer / Engineer, or Degree Equivalent
- 8 years of marine & offshore installation experience with 2+ years at a Senior level
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of DP systems, operations, trials and standards
- Extensive knowledge and experience of marine operations in support of offshore oil and gas activity
- Good knowledge of international maritime regulations, standards, and codes
- Experienced in carrying out marine assurance and technical writing
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Strong supervisory, communication, and interpersonal skills

Job Purpose
- Supervise and monitor Marine Operations to ensure compliance with international codes, classification society, flag state, local regulations, and company procedures.
- Contribute to robust marine crew, watercraft & contractor vetting and monitoring program to reduce major marine risk.
Key Accountabilities
- Demonstrate an Incident Free attitude through establishing and maintaining a strong safety culture.
- Ensure all activities comply with the companies HSE policy.
- Propose & monitor strategies and technology to support GHG reduction targets.
- Support Marine Incident Investigations and reporting processes.
- Support the Lead, Marine Operations in creation and review of company CMS standards and guidelines.
- Support and encourage development of local talent.
- Ensure CMS rules, standards, policies, and guidelines are applied and monitored.
- Maintain a robust marine vetting and assurance program.
- Support contract management.
- Support operational changes.
- Participate in industry forums.
- Support the role of Marine Supervisor (JUB) during periods of sickness.
Work Schedule
- Based offshore, onboard company charter watercraft on a 28/28 rotational basis.
- Occasional assignment onshore in companies Doha office.
Education & Experience
- Master Mariner, Chief Engineer, Marine Warranty Surveyor, Merchant Naval Officer / Engineer, or Degree Equivalent
- 8 years of marine & offshore installation experience with 2+ years at a Senior level.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of DP systems, operations, trials and standards.
