About the Role
A well-established manufacturer in Waterloo Region is hiring a Manufacturing Systems & Documentation Analyst to support documentation control, process improvement, production reporting, and manufacturing knowledge management.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, product specifications, troubleshooting guides, and manufacturing process documentation
- Manage document control activities, ensuring records remain accurate, current, and compliant
- Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), specifications, and related manufacturing documentation
- Capture and organize operational knowledge from engineering, quality, and production teams
- Convert informal or undocumented processes into clear, searchable, user friendly documentation
- Analyze and document workflows across manufacturing, quality, engineering, and support functions
- Support corrective actions, non conformance investigations, and quality documentation
- Create training materials, onboarding guides, job aids, and process support documentation
- Support manufacturing systems, reporting tools, and operational improvement initiatives
- Compile, validate, analyze, and report production data from ERP, MRP, and manufacturing systems
- Ensure reporting accuracy and support data driven decision making
- Identify opportunities to improve process consistency, information flow, and operational efficiency
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing systems, document control, technical documentation, quality systems, engineering support, process improvement, or a related discipline
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Strong skills in process documentation, document control, workflow analysis, and data management
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Excel, databases, and reporting tools
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create clear, concise technical documentation
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail
- Post secondary education in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering Technology, Applied Science, Quality, or a related field is preferred
