About the Role
ADIB is seeking a Manager for Wholesale Finance Operations in Abu Dhabi to lead day-to-day operations for corporate assets and contracting finance. The role involves managing payment disbursements, ensuring Sharia compliance, and driving digitalization.

Responsibilities
- Spearhead day to day operations for Corporate Assets and Contracting Finance Operations Department
- Execute payment disbursements for WBG, CFIB, BBD, PB, WM, & Real Estate customers
- Implement corporate, contracting and real estate finance deals for various Islamic products
- Supervise and monitor syndication transactions after sale services and rollovers
- Draft monthly reports and analyze reconciliations for GL suspense accounts
- Process disbursements and book transactions of new corporate facilities
- Evaluate and draft agreements in synchronization with CAD and Sharia department
- Ensure compliance with Sharia law and regulatory guidelines
- Embed controls for proper due diligence as per ADIB's Financing Policy
- Lead UATs on projects of Wholesale Finance from operations perspective
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of Sharia principles in Islamic Finance
- Expertise in Islamic Financial Products
- Good technical knowledge of bank systems and ability to write BRDs
- Effective leadership and strong communication skills
- Good understanding of legal contracts
- Excellent relationship management skills

Role Purpose
- Spearhead day to day operations for Corporate Assets and Contracting Finance Operations Department as per Sharia guiding principles.
- Ensure smooth functioning of operations executing circa AED 15B to 19B payment disbursements for WBG, CFIB, BBD, PB, WM, & Real Estate customers.
Key Accountabilities
- Instrumental in implementing Corporate, Contracting and Real Estate Finance deals for various products including Itisnaa, Wakala, Murabaha, Musharka, Mudaraba Muswama and Ijarah.
- Proficiently steering the team as Unit Head for seamless functioning of activities.
- Supervising and monitoring the implementation of syndication Transactions after sale services and rollovers.
- Drafting monthly reports for business and finance department and analyzing monthly reconciliations.
- Streamlining preparation of monthly reports of Operations Risk Management System, KRI, MIS, and IT reports.
- Accountable for processing disbursements and booking transactions of new corporate facilities.
- Evaluating and drafting agreements in synchronization with CAD and Sharia department.
- Liable for supervising activities associated with all after sale services.
- Analyzing and accomplishing restructuring approvals in liaison with Business and Risk Management Group.
- Support International Locations across all products classes.
- Complete Adherence with Sharia law and ensure processes are aligned with ADIB Sharia guidelines.
- Embedding controls to ensure transactions are processed with proper due diligence.
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required
- Excellent Knowledge of Sharia principals in Islamic Finance.
- Expertise in Islamic Financial Products.
- Good technical knowledge of bank system’s ability to write BRD’s.
- Effective leadership, strong communication skills and ability to lead bank wide relationships.
- Good understanding of legal contracts.
- Excellent relationship Management skills.
