About the Role
Emirates Global Aluminium seeks a Manager of Operational Procurement to lead enterprise-wide procurement activities for materials and services. The role oversees P2P cycles, expediting, vendor onboarding, and outsourced teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and govern departmental policies and procedures for Operational Procurement, Expediting, Vendor Onboarding, Materials Cataloguing, and Outsourced Services
- Lead and manage the end to end Procure to Pay (P2P) process
- Oversee critical P2P functions including expediting, service confirmation, GRN/SES posting, invoice alignment, and financial closure
- Ensure reliable and on time delivery of materials and services to support production continuity
- Resolve high level conflicts and disputes with end users or suppliers
- Lead the expediting function to ensure reliable supplier delivery
- Provide strategic oversight of vendor onboarding process
- Lead the end to end material master process
- Provide strategic oversight of outsourced teams ensuring SLA driven performance
- Oversee accurate and timely reporting across procurement functions
- Apply deep SAP and process knowledge to re engineer workflows and accelerate digital transformation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Information Technology, or a related field
- 15+ years of procurement or supply chain experience with significant leadership responsibility
- Proven track record managing multi site operations, vendor onboarding, material cataloguing, expediting, and outsourced procurement teams
- Deep understanding of end to end P2P cycles and operational procurement
- Strong command of SAP MM and digital procurement tools
- Executive level people leadership skills
- Strong decision making, governance, and compliance orientation

Job Purpose
- Provides enterprise wide leadership across operational procurement covering materials and services, expediting, vendor onboarding, material cataloguing, and outsourced support teams.
- Ensures essential materials and services are procured and delivered on time to avoid jeopardising operational performance and production continuity.
- Drives compliant, efficient, and timely execution of the P2P cycle across all EGA plants.

- Develop, implement, and govern departmental policies and procedures.
- Provide clear direction to managers and ensure adherence to governance model.
- Establish clear objectives and performance standards.

Key Accountabilities Operational Procurement & Supply Chain Services
- Lead and manage the end to end Procure to Pay (P2P) process.
- Oversee critical P2P functions including expediting, service confirmation, GRN/SES posting, invoice alignment, and financial closure.
- Ensure reliable and on time delivery of materials and services.
- Provide leadership and oversight to internal and outsourced teams.
- Resolve high level conflicts and disputes from end users or suppliers.
- Ensure Operational Procurement teams support Category Management.
- Foster strong cross functional alignment with Smelter Operations, ATA Refinery, Finance, and Supply Chain.
- Lead the expediting function to ensure reliable supplier delivery.
- Provide strategic oversight of vendor onboarding process.
- Lead the end to end material master process.
- Provide strategic oversight of outsourced teams.
Key Accountabilities Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee accurate, timely, and reliable reporting across procurement functions.
- Support executive decision making through structured dashboards and analytics.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, procurement policies, and governance standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to supply reliability and data integrity.
Key Accountabilities Systems, Processes & Continuous Improvement
- Apply deep SAP and process knowledge to re engineer workflows and accelerate digital transformation.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Excellence to standardise processes and implement best practices.
- Drive system readiness, process discipline, and continuous improvement initiatives across all plants.
Key Accountabilities Decision Making & Influencing Skills
- Demonstrate strong, timely, and informed decision making in fast paced environments.
- Influence senior stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, Legal, and other business units.
- Negotiate effectively with suppliers and cross functional teams.
- Balance operational urgency with compliance, risk, and commercial considerations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 15+ years of procurement or supply chain experience with significant leadership responsibility.
- Proven track record managing multi site operations, vendor onboarding, material cataloguing, expediting, and outsourced procurement teams.
- Experience resolving senior level supplier and end user escalations.
- Deep understanding of end to end P2P cycles and operational procurement.
- Strong command of SAP MM and digital procurement tools.
- Ability to analyse operational data, manage KPIs, and improve process effectiveness.
- Executive level people leadership with ability to lead multiple managers and cross functional teams.
- Strong decision making, governance, and compliance orientation.
- Skilled in building capability, driving accountability, and leading continuous improvement.
