A large real estate organization is appointing an Internal Audit Quality Assurance Manager within its Internal Audit function.
The role supports the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of internal audit activities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality assurance reviews across internal audit engagements and working papers.
- Support development and continuous improvement of internal audit policies, methodologies, manuals, and templates.
- Lead the QAIP plan and drive continuous improvement.
- Assess internal controls, governance, and risk management effectiveness.
- Support the annual internal quality assessment of the Internal Audit function.
- Monitor adherence to audit standards, policies, and procedures.
- Support risk-based audit planning and the quality of audit deliverables.
- Support digital, analytics, and reporting initiatives within Internal Audit.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum eight years of relevant internal audit experience, including two to three years in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, internal controls, and quality assurance frameworks.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on.
- CIA or an audit quality-related qualification is strongly preferred.
