Assistant Manager Aml & Regulatory
I'm currently working with a growing bank in Dubai that is looking to hire an Assistant Manager AML & Regulatory to join its AML team.
This role would suit someone with a strong AML and regulatory background, with some exposure to AML systems, data and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor changes in UAE AML-CFT, Sanctions and CPF regulations.
- Conduct regulatory gap analysis and manage action plans.
- Support AML-CFT and Sanctions policy updates.
- Test and tune transaction monitoring and sanctions screening systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve AML processes through technology and automation.
- Prepare AML reports and management information.
- Support regulatory requests and AML-related projects.
- Work closely with AML, Compliance, Technology and Operations teams.
Requirements
- 5-7 years' experience in AML, financial crime or regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of the UAE AML-CFT and Sanctions framework.
- Experience with AML systems, transaction monitoring or sanctions screening.
- Exposure to system testing, tuning or process automation.
- Experience with regulatory gap analysis and remediation.
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- ACAMS or similar qualification would be a plus.
