Job Purpose

Project Quality Accountabilities

• Develop, approve, maintain, and enforce project-specific quality management systems and procedures.
• Maintain quality objectives, KPIs, contractual requirements, risk registers, NCR registers, and lessons learned registers.
• Review audits, quality documentation, contractor and supplier compliance, and corrective actions.
• Conduct and maintain internal quality audit plans covering package contractors.
• Support vendor and field inspection planning and third-party inspection consultant selection.
• Ensure QA/QC resources, contractual quality requirements, and project deliverables meet approved procedures.
• Interface with project management, contractors, consultants, licensors, suppliers, and stakeholders on quality matters.

Team and Corporate Accountabilities

• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the project QA/QC team.
• Monitor team performance, training needs, budgets, HSE compliance, legal compliance, and process improvement.
• Promote quality, safety, change management, confidentiality, and professional standards across project interfaces.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent from an accredited university.
• At least 15 years of relevant oil and gas or petrochemical industry experience.
• At least 5 years in a similar position on major oil and gas or petrochemical projects managing specialist and engineering teams.
• Experience in FEED and EPC phases is required.
• Knowledge of project handover and associated compliance requirements.
• Written and verbal communication skills and a proven record of completed execution phases.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in the GCC region.
• ADNOC and offshore project experience.
• PMC experience.
• Certification in Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9000.
• Certification as a Lead Auditor.

Technical Competencies

• Quality management systems, quality assurance and control, quality audits, project compliance, and project risk management.
• Technical reporting, contracting, project documentation, contractor monitoring, and non-conformance management.
• Field and source inspections, QC testing, manufacturing data records, lessons learned, and project handover requirements.
