About the Role

Key Applications

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is used as the ERP platform.
• Cognos supports finance consolidation and reporting.
• SimCorp supports investment management.
• Jedox EPM supports enterprise performance management.
• The portfolio also includes other business applications and supporting technologies.

Business Applications Management and Support

• Own the business applications portfolio and keep applications stable, secure, supported, and aligned with business requirements.
• Provide and coordinate L3 support for critical business applications.
• Oversee maintenance, upgrades, patching, enhancements, lifecycle management, and support coverage.
• Work with internal teams and outsourced specialists to resolve complex application issues.

ERP, Enterprise Applications, and Projects

• Manage and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Oversee integrations across finance, investment, reporting, and EPM platforms.
• Translate operational and financial requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Coordinate approximately 12 to 16 business applications projects annually, depending on priorities.
• Manage project priorities, timelines, vendors, budgets, and implementation activities.
• Lead smaller projects independently and coordinate larger initiatives with stakeholders.

Vendor and Outsourcing Management

• Manage software vendors, implementation partners, and outsourced application specialists.
• Evaluate vendors and software solutions for functionality, suitability, and commercial value.
• Review proposals, compare pricing, and support procurement-related technology decisions.
• Manage project contracts, vendor meetings, deliverables, and service expectations.

Infrastructure and Team Leadership

• Provide technical oversight across infrastructure areas when required.
• Coordinate operating system patching and related security activities across Windows Server, Linux, and application hosting environments.
• Ensure appropriate attention to cybersecurity, patching, and technical risk.
• Lead a small internal team of approximately two employees and coordinate several outsourced specialists.

Indicative Role Allocation

Key Requirements

• Approximately 10 or more years of experience in IT, enterprise applications, or business applications management.
• Strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or comparable ERP experience.
• Broad enterprise applications exposure, business and financial understanding, and project delivery experience.
• Experience managing vendors, outsourced partners, and third-party application support.
• Hands-on understanding of Windows Server, Linux, operating system patching, technical security, and one programming language other than SQL.
• A relevant technical certification in addition to a university degree is required.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Systems, or a related discipline is required.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, independence, and ownership are required.
• Exposure to financial services, investment, private-sector, or similarly complex environments is required.
