About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year end close process, ensuring accuracy and on time delivery across all reporting cycles
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supporting investor reporting as needed
- Own the general ledger — maintaining the system, reviewing journal entries, and ensuring reconciliations are complete and correct
- Develop and enforce internal financial controls and procedures that keep AppDirect audit ready year round
- Partner with the external audit team annually, coordinating documentation and responses across the finance function
- Manage and grow a team of at least two direct reports, providing coaching, feedback, and clear direction on priorities
- Support acquisition related financial integrations as they arise, working cross functionally to ensure a smooth transition
- Support multinational foreign entities and assist with financial consolidation processes
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including exposure to full cycle close and financial reporting
- 2+ years managing direct reports in an accounting or finance function
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA designation preferred
- Hands on experience with NetSuite or a comparable enterprise ERP system
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- You're comfortable working across ERP systems like NetSuite and can hold your own in conversations with auditors, investors, and leadership alike.

What we're looking for
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including exposure to full cycle close and financial reporting.
- 2+ years managing direct reports in an accounting or finance function.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and acquisitions is considered an asset.
- Hands on experience with NetSuite or a comparable enterprise ERP system.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — you'll regularly present financial information to leadership and work across departments, so clarity matters.
