Role Overview
HPE is hiring a Senior Solution Architect in its Hybrid Cloud organization for managed-services opportunities across the MEA region.
The role is designated onsite, with an expectation of primarily working from an HPE office.
The architect works with HPE peers, sales representatives, partners, and customers to design managed-services solutions.
Core Responsibilities
- Design managed-services solutions for hybrid cloud, private cloud, AI, AI-Ops-enabled infrastructure, GreenLake, and SAP HANA environments.
- Provide technical expertise, solution advice, proposal support, presentations, and customer communications.
- Assess customer needs, tailor solutions, revise designs, and address technical risks and challenges.
- Create solution pricing and financial models reflecting cost of service and customer pricing.
- Facilitate transition from sales to implementation by orienting delivery teams to solution designs.
- Manage multiple solution or service opportunities concurrently.
Opportunity Pursuit
- Identify, qualify, and help close small to medium opportunities.
- Prepare proposals and bids, deliver sales presentations, position HPE offerings against competitors, and participate in the SOAR process.
