Responsibilities
- Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles with internal partners and teams to best serve the customer
- Initiate long standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors
- Create and implement strategic account plans focused on attaining enterprise wide deployments
- Understand strategic competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position Palo Alto Networks
- Engage a programmatic approach to demand generation, development, and expansion of territory
- Leverage prospect stories to create compelling value propositions for specific accounts
- Stay updated on industry news and trends affecting Palo Alto Networks products and services
- Travel as necessary within territory and to company wide meetings
Requirements
- Experience and knowledge of SaaS based architectures, ideally in networking and/or security context
- Experience cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with channel partners
- Ability to lead all aspects of the sales cycle: uncover, qualify, develop, and close new white space territories and accounts
- Deep knowledge of the intelligence community
- Successful track record selling complex solutions
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work with high levels of autonomy and self direction
- Highly competitive, quick to ramp, extremely adaptive, and pride in exceeding production goals

Job Summary
- The Regional Sales Manager is a significant driver of company revenue and growth.
- Responsible for leading and driving sales engagements, connecting customers with solutions for threat prevention.
- Meet and exceed quota by crafting strategic territory plans targeting deployments of the Next Generation Security Platform.
