Maintenance Supervisor

Job Purpose

Operational Responsibilities

• Monitor weekly and monthly generator schedules, including generator and automatic transfer switch status.
• Follow up on testing of water treatment, sewage, conveyor, elevator, escalator, fire-fighting, and gas detection systems.
• Respond to power outages, main water interruptions, and maintenance disruptions affecting air transport operations.
• Audit procedures and standards, supervise facility maintenance, and inspect newly installed systems.
• Develop cleaning schedules and plans, maintain cleaning-supply inventories, and keep cleaning equipment operational.
• Inspect maintenance warehouses and monitor recoverable spare parts, especially parts for critical systems.
• Coordinate work permits, drawings, catalogs, and other documents with contractors and airport departments.
• Coordinate scheduled work and operational impacts with airport staff, security personnel, air traffic control, and stakeholders.
• Manage HVAC, lighting, and other energy-consuming equipment through the Building Management System.
• Develop GIS-based floor plans, layouts, and site maps, and support space planning and reconfiguration.

Employee Development and Administration

• Set objectives for direct reports, identify training needs, evaluate outcomes, and guide employees in completing assigned tasks.
• Train and develop maintenance employees and promote a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Implement relevant policies and procedures and assist with concise reports for the Airport Manager.
• Hold regular meetings with direct reports to review progress, challenges, suggestions, and follow-up actions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facility management, or a related field is required.
• At least 7 years of experience in the relevant field is required.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English is required.
