Position Overview

Maintenance Planning and Scheduling

• Develop preventive maintenance programs for plant equipment and facilities.
• Plan routine, corrective, emergency, shutdown, and turnaround maintenance activities.
• Define job scope, sequence, manpower, tools, materials, and task duration.
• Prepare annual schedules and coordinate execution to minimize plant downtime.

Shutdown and Turnaround Planning

• Prepare shutdown and turnaround work scopes, work packs, and schedules.
• Develop overall turnaround schedules, identify critical path activities, and monitor milestones.
• Track progress and risks, provide stakeholder updates, and confirm resource availability.

SAP and Materials Management

• Manage SAP work orders, maintenance plans, equipment master data, bills of materials, maintenance history, and material reservations.
• Prepare spare parts and material requirements, raise purchase requisitions, and coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams.
• Conduct technical evaluations of maintenance materials and services when required.

Reporting and Compliance

• Prepare maintenance KPI, work completion, performance, cost, and management reports.
• Estimate maintenance and shutdown costs and monitor expenditure against budget.
• Support Management of Change and Authorization for Expenditure processes.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with company policies, procedures, HSE requirements, and best practices.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• At least five years of maintenance experience in petrochemical, refinery, chemical, oil and gas, or similar process industries.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, plant equipment, and reliability principles.
• Hands-on SAP PM or equivalent CMMS experience.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Experience with shutdown and turnaround planning, scheduling, and execution support.
• Knowledge of spare parts management, material planning, procurement, HSE, and maintenance best practices.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills, with strong analytical, reporting, coordination, and communication abilities.
