Job Purpose
Acts as the link between business teams and technology teams.
Understands business needs, documents requirements, improves processes, and supports IT solutions aligned with organizational goals.
The role is based out of the client’s Dubai office.
Responsibilities
- Gathers, analyzes, and documents business and system requirements.
- Works with stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify technology-based solutions.
- Translates business needs into functional specifications for IT teams.
- Maps current-state and future-state business processes.
- Supports system implementation, testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Coordinates with developers, project managers, vendors, and business users.
- Identifies process improvement opportunities and recommends practical solutions.
- Prepares reports, workflows, user stories, business cases, and project documentation.
- Supports change management, training, and post-implementation reviews.
- Monitors project progress and helps ensure solutions meet agreed requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, IT Business Analyst, or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of business processes, systems analysis, and software development lifecycles.
- Experience gathering requirements and preparing functional documentation.
- Good knowledge of project management and business analysis tools.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with ERP, CRM, data, or enterprise systems is an advantage.
- CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, Agile, or Scrum certifications are a plus.
