Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery and equipment in Hot Gas Path Parts shop
- Operate vacuum furnaces, air furnaces, ultrasonic cleaners, chemical stripping units, air compressors, brazing equipment, and EDM drilling machine according to operational requirements
- Prepare components and set up equipment for operation processes, ensuring proper procedure and required specification
- Conduct regular maintenance and mechanical inspections of machinery to ensure efficient operation and minimize downtime
- Perform repairs and troubleshooting on machines, pumps and equipment as needed
- Identify and resolve mechanical operational issues with equipment
- Report significant problems to the foreman when necessary
- Comply with all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Work effectively with shop foreman and other team members to meet shop objectives and comply with MPW rules and regulations
- Maintain accurate operation logs, check sheets and documentation for all processes and equipment used
- Maintain the required level of efficiency, productivity and professionalism in line with MPW standard
- Safely manage and handle chemical materials, solutions, and liquids in accordance with safety protocols and operational standards

Job Summary
- The candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines used in the manufacturing process and repair for Gas turbine components.
- The Machine Operator will ensure that jobs run smoothly and efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities

Additional Responsibilities
- Fill out and maintain the daily operation records for the heat treatment process and chemical stripping process.
- Perform and ensure the required masking and protection for the gas turbine components when required.
- Operate the Jib crane and Overhead crane to carry heavy components/material when required.
- Ensure that surrounding area of responsibility are kept clean and tidy.
- Perform housekeeping and shop arrangement tasks once requested by the shop foreman.
- Maintain the required materials, tools and safety equipment in good working condition.
- Ensure chemical stripping activities are executed in compliance with MPW standard and QHSE requirements.
- Comply with any designated tasks assigned by factory management.
- Perform additional duties to support the business as needed.
