A leading organisation in Dubai is seeking an experienced
Investments And M&A Director
to shape its growth strategy, drive high-impact deals, and influence key decisions at the executive level.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex projects across international markets, collaborate with senior leadership, and develop a high-performing team, all within a dynamic, forward-thinking environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the group's investment strategy to align with long-term growth objectives across diverse markets.
- Lead end-to-end transaction processes, including acquisitions, joint ventures, divestments, and strategic partnerships.
- Oversee portfolio performance by evaluating risk-adjusted returns and ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
- Conduct advanced financial modelling and due diligence across financial, legal, commercial, technical, and ESG domains.
- Establish governance frameworks for capital expenditure appraisals and post-investment reviews.
- Build relationships with external stakeholders such as banks, advisors, private equity firms, and strategic partners.
- Mentor and develop a talented team while fostering collaboration across departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in M&A, corporate development, project finance, or investments within asset-heavy industries (e.g., infrastructure, utilities, data centers).
- Proven track record of leading complex transactions and large-scale capital projects.
- Expertise in financial modelling, valuation methodologies, and structured financing solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and present complex concepts clearly.
- Experience working in GCC markets is highly desirable but not essential.
