Role Overview
Lead end-to-end logistics operations for a major construction project in Riyadh.
Develop and execute the project logistics strategy for safe, timely, and efficient movement of materials, equipment, plant, and manpower.
Maintain uninterrupted construction progress across multiple work fronts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the project logistics management plan and site logistics strategy aligned with the master construction programme.
- Lead site access, traffic management, delivery scheduling, laydown areas, material storage, and internal logistics.
- Coordinate heavy or abnormal loads, major plant movements, cranes, equipment mobilization, and specialist transportation.
- Ensure just-in-time delivery of materials and equipment for critical work fronts and milestones.
- Coordinate with Construction, Planning, Procurement, HSE, Commercial, Security, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Manage logistics subcontractors and drive performance, productivity, and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate permits, authority interfaces, and external road or access requirements.
- Identify and remove logistics constraints affecting programme, productivity, or safety.
- Establish and monitor logistics KPIs, reporting, risks, and improvement initiatives.
- Maintain HSE, compliance, housekeeping, and operational control standards.
