About the Role
Vanderlande is seeking a Logistics Expediter to coordinate material deliveries for airport logistics projects. The role involves monitoring schedules, liaising with procurement and logistics teams, and ensuring timely availability of materials.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Planning team to monitor project schedules and ensure timely availability of materials in line with site delivery requirements
- Liaise with the Procurement team to verify purchase order requirements, supplier commitments, and delivery schedules
- Monitor, track, and expedite material deliveries from suppliers to ensure compliance with project timelines and milestones
- Follow up with suppliers on manufacturing progress, material readiness, documentation, and shipment schedules
- Identify potential risks, delays, and supply chain bottlenecks, and proactively escalate issues to the Project Manager, Commercial Project Manager, and Planning team
- Coordinate with the Logistics team to arrange material collection, transportation, customs clearance, and delivery to project sites
- Maintain accurate material tracking reports, delivery status updates, and supplier performance records
- Ensure all shipping documents, certifications, and compliance requirements are complete and aligned with project specifications and contractual obligations
- Support site teams by ensuring materials are delivered and available on site in accordance with planned project milestones
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Procurement teams to ensure alignment of material specifications, availability, and project requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, procurement expediting, supply chain coordination, or project logistics
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, international shipping, and supplier management
- Experience working in project based or EPC environments
- Good knowledge of technical documentation and engineering requirements
- Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast paced environment
- Strong problem solving, risk identification, and escalation skills
- Excellent follow up and negotiation abilities
- Good understanding of shipping documentation, customs clearance, and logistics processes
- Strong reporting, organizational, and planning skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and reporting tools
