- Develop, implement, and maintain HSSE systems aligned with Employer guidelines and ISO 14001/ISO 45001 standards
- Maintain documented operational controls to manage HSSE risks, environmental aspects, and sustainability
- Implement and monitor HSSE performance through SMART KPIs
- Maintain documented processes for HSSE inspections and ensure frequency reflects risk levels
- Ensure top management conducts periodic HSSE reviews with findings shared and closed out
- Maintain and document emergency preparedness and response plans
- Conduct HSSE campaigns to all personnel, contractors, and the client
- Develop and deliver HSSE induction programs for all project personnel, subcontractors, and visitors
- Identify training needs and ensure HSSE competency for all site based staff
- Promote awareness of safe work practices through campaigns, toolbox talks, and safety observations
- Support sustainability initiatives such as energy efficiency, emissions reduction, and responsible waste disposal
- Develop, implement, and maintain Worker Welfare plans aligned with Employer guidelines and IFC guidelines
Requirements
- Recognized qualifications in health and safety or risk management
- Preferably holds a diploma/degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Certifications in NVQ, BSC, NCRQ, NEBOSH or equivalent
- ISO Auditor certification (14001, 45001) preferable
- Minimum 15 years of experience in HSE management
- At least 10 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record in the airport industry, particularly in baggage and cargo handling systems
- Extensive experience across full project lifecycle from proposal to handover

HSE Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSSE systems aligned with Employer guidelines and ISO 14001/ISO 45001 standards.

Welfare Management

- Implement welfare processes and monitor for effectiveness.
- Monitor welfare facilities and accommodation standards to ensure compliance with local labour laws.
Strategic Leadership & Representation
- Serve as the HSSE SME to the project management team and represent HSSE matters to the customer.
- Serve as the official representative at the Beyond Zero Forum.
- Build a team to execute HSSE tasks throughout the project life cycle.
- Align HSSE strategies with customer requirements and overall project goals.
- Lead change management initiatives related to HSE.
- Coach and mentor HSSE team members to build internal capabilities.
Required Qualifications Education & Certifications
- Recognized qualifications in health and safety or risk management.
- Preferably holds a diploma/degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

Experience
