Responsibilities
- Translate compliance processes into clear, practical KPIs and measurable indicators
- Develop and maintain simple, clear dashboards that provide insight into compliance performance
- Structure consistent reporting for management, the Risk & Compliance Committee, and Audit Committee
- Coordinate data collection and automation with data owners (e.g., HR’s Workday, whistleblower hotline, sanctions screening tool)
- Track how compliance processes are applied in practice (volumes, cycle times, completion rates)
- Conduct light touch spot checks and thematic reviews to validate compliance processes and controls
- Analyze trends, patterns, and outliers across compliance data to identify systemic issues and improvement opportunities
- Map available data sources and define standards for compliance data quality and accessibility
- Provide data, templates, and consolidated views for compliance risk assessments
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Risk Management, Data / Information Management, or a related field
- Typically 3 7 years of relevant experience in compliance, internal audit, risk management, internal controls, data/analytics in a governance or control environment, or digital/IT roles with exposure to structured processes
- Experience working with processes, controls, or performance metrics
- Strong analytical and structured thinking, comfortable working with evolving or imperfect data
- Advanced Excel/PowerBI skills
- Ability to translate complex topics into clear, practical insights for non technical stakeholders
- Pragmatic and hands on mindset; able to start simple and improve over time

Role Purpose
- The Compliance Analytics, Monitoring & Reporting Lead is responsible for building and strengthening how Vanderlande measures, monitors, and improves its global Compliance Management System.
- The role sits within Vanderlande’s global Ethics, Risk & Compliance team and works across its core compliance areas: Anti Corruption, Data Privacy & AI Governance, Competition Law, and Speak Up & Investigations.
- You will work in an environment where processes and underlying data are still evolving.
Key Responsibilities
- Translating compliance processes into clear, practical KPIs and measurable indicators.
- Helping the Compliance & Ethics team to establish common definitions and standards across the compliance areas.
- Ensuring that new or updated compliance policies and instructions include measurable outcomes.
- Developing and maintaining simple, clear dashboards that provide insight into compliance performance.
- Structuring consistent reporting for management, the Risk & Compliance Committee, and Audit Committee.
- Coordinating data collection and automation with data owners.
- Tracking how our compliance processes are applied in practice.
- Identifying where processes are unclear, not followed, or inconsistently applied.
- Conducting light touch spot checks to validate whether compliance processes and controls are applied as intended.
- Performing thematic reviews (e.g., compliance training patterns, third party due diligence quality).
- Analyzing trends, patterns, and outliers across compliance data.
- Mapping available data sources and ownership.
What do we ask from you?
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Risk Management, Data / Information Management, or a related field.
- Typically 3 7 years of relevant experience in compliance, internal audit, risk management, internal controls, data/analytics in a governance or control environment, or digital/IT roles with exposure to structured processes.

- Competitive salary range of €4937 to €6670 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance) for NL.
