- Lead the development and implementation of the project wide logistics strategy covering all phases of design, construction, commissioning and handover
- Establish and manage logistics plans, site access arrangements, traffic management strategies, laydown areas, material storage facilities and workforce movement plans
- Direct and coordinate logistics activities across multiple contractors, consultants and stakeholders to ensure efficient site operations and programme delivery
- Oversee construction logistics interfaces between venue developments, infrastructure works, utility installations and operational facilities
- Ensure effective management of deliveries, plant movements, heavy lifting operations and temporary works activities across the project
- Develop and implement logistics governance procedures, reporting systems and performance monitoring frameworks
- Coordinate closely with local authorities and regulatory bodies to secure permits, approvals and traffic management requirements
- Lead planning for major construction milestones, phased handovers and event readiness requirements where applicable
- Identify logistics related risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impacts on programme, safety, cost and operational performance
- Support project planning and scheduling teams in developing practical construction sequencing and site utilisation strategies
- Promote best practices in logistics management, innovation, digital solutions and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements, logistics standards and regulatory obligations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline
- Minimum 20+ years of experience in construction, infrastructure or programme logistics management
- Demonstrable major project experience on large scale, complex developments
- Proven track record in managing logistics functions across multi package programmes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership capability in managing large logistics teams

Job Description
- Parsons is seeking a highly talented Logistics Director to join our team
- In this leadership role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing comprehensive logistics strategies across a large scale, multi package venue and infrastructure programme
- You will work in close partnership with the client, project leadership, contractors, consultants, authorities, and key stakeholders to establish and maintain robust logistics, access, traffic management, and site coordination frameworks
- The Logistics Director will also lead logistics planning, interface management, and operational readiness activities, ensuring the safe, timely, and successful delivery of the programme in alignment with project objectives
What You'll Be Doing

What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline. Master’s Degree in a relevant field is advantageous
- Professional certifications in logistics, project management or construction management are desirable
- Membership of a recognised professional institution is preferred
- Minimum 20+ years of experience in construction, infrastructure or programme logistics management, with significant experience in senior leadership positions
- Demonstrable major project experience on large scale, complex developments such as exhibition and convention centres, airports, transportation hubs, mixed use developments or comparable mega projects
- Proven track record in managing logistics functions across multi package programmes involving multiple contractors, stakeholders and interfaces
- Extensive experience in construction logistics planning, traffic management, site operations, access control and material handling strategies
- Strong understanding of project phasing, construction methodologies and operational constraints within live or complex environments
- Experience in developing logistics governance frameworks, reporting systems and performance management processes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across diverse project teams and external agencies
- Demonstrated leadership capability in managing large logistics teams and driving high performance outcomes
- Excellent problem solving, decision making and risk management skills in fast paced project environments
