- Prepare inspection reports and site records
- Perform civil and structural tests (soil compaction, concrete slump, etc.)
- Provide general inspection on construction labor and subcontractor tasks
- Verify equipment alignment and balancing operations
- Receive material inspection requests and inspect civil materials delivered at site
- Prepare and complete necessary documentation prior to inspection
- Monitor and maintain records concerning execution of works
- Ensure project quality control procedures are used and monitor for improvement
- Communicate site progress information regularly
- Coordinate works to ensure successful hand over of the project
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years related experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in Abu Dhabi
- Knowledge and experience using computer software
- GCC experience preferred
- Strong analytic capabilities and ability to work independently
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle physical aspects of field work
- Commitment to safe work practices

Job Description
- Parsons Corporation is hiring a Material Inspector for infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prepares inspection reports and site records.
- Performs civil and structural tests such as soil compaction, moisture content, concrete slump, etc.
- Provides general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks.
- Verifies equipment alignment and balancing operations.
- Receives material inspection requests and inspects civil materials delivered at site.
- Prepares and completes necessary documentation prior to inspection.
- Keeps, monitors, and maintains complete records concerning execution of works.
- Ensures project quality control procedures are used and monitors for improvement.
- Ensures site progress information is communicated regularly.
- Coordinates works to ensure successful hand over of the project.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years related experience, out of which minimum 2 years experience in Abu Dhabi is mandatory.
- Knowledge and experience using computer software.
- GCC experience preferred.
