Responsibilities
- Travel to freighter destinations to safely execute operational activities including PDU/CLS operations, unloading, loading and securing cargo
- Produce load sheets and Loading Instructions Report for freighters ensuring optimum aircraft performance per Weight and Balance Freighter Manual
- Assist outstations with shortage or non availability of local station staff
- Monitor Weight and Balance Freighter license renewal revalidation processes
- Provide feedback to management on ramp operations and operational shortcomings with Ground Handling Agents
- Ensure on time performance is maintained for assigned turn arounds in coordination with GHA's and regional departments
- Support cargo build up process in remote, charter flights or offline stations
- Be operational point of contact between FCLC and IOC for remote, charter flights or offline stations
Requirements
- High School Diploma with 4 years experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 3 years experience as a Load Controller
- Hands on experience in freighter operations, specifically 777F and B747 8F aircraft
- Valid acceptable Load Control license on wide bodied aircraft
- Knowledge of DGR and IATA Regulations
- Load control course completion
- Supervisory skills training advantageous

Description
- Qatar Airways Cargo is looking for a Load Master Officer to join the Cargo Product Team in Doha.
- The role involves traveling to freighter destinations to safely execute operational activities including PDU/CLS operations, unloading, loading and securing cargo.
- Responsible for safe production of Load sheets / Loading Instructions Report for freighters as per required standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist outstations at times of need due to shortage or non availability of local station staff.
- Monitor Weight and Balance Freighter (WBF) license renewal revalidation processes.
- Travel to freighter destinations in the absence of operational coverage at outstations to release flights.
- Provide feedback to management on ramp operations at outstations and all operational shortcomings with Ground Handling Agents.
- Ensure on time performance (OTP) is maintained in the best level for the assigned turn arounds.
- Support Cargo build up process in remote, Charter Flights or offline stations.
- Be the operational point of contact between FCLC and IOC for remote, Charter Flights or offline stations.
Qualification
- High School Diploma with Minimum 4 years of job related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent (preferably in STEM) with Minimum 3 years of experience as a Load Controller.
- Hands on experience in freighter operations. Specific experience to 777F and B747 8F aircraft.
- A/C loading experience and compatibilities.
- DGR, I AR.
- IATA Regulations.
- Load control course.
- Supervisory skills training advantageous.
- Valid acceptable Load Control license on wide bodied aircraft.
