Position Summary
The Lighting and Control System Engineer operates, maintains, and manages the performance of lighting and lighting control assets on the RF-001 expressway network.
The role covers conventional street lighting, decorative and architectural lighting, smart control networks, and underpass and tunnel lighting.
The engineer ensures compliance with applicable standards, performance requirements, contract KPIs, and SLA obligations.
Lighting Operations
- Plan and supervise decorative and architectural lighting maintenance on bridges, interchanges, landmark structures, and feature installations.
- Manage DMX512 and RDM fixtures, scene programming, color sequences, schedules, addressing, and data integrity.
- Diagnose data line, driver, and node faults and maintain controller backups and as-built control documentation.
- Lead fault finding, preventive maintenance, and corrective works across street, decorative, and tunnel lighting assets.
- Supervise subcontractor and in-house teams and enforce quality and SLA compliance.
Smart Lighting Controls
- Support the planned future rollout of LoRaWAN smart lighting control using gateways, nodes, network servers, and a central management system.
