About the Role
Qatar Airways seeks a Licensed Engineer - Rotary Wing to ensure proper maintenance of aircraft and expedient rectification of defects. You will supervise maintenance staff, perform flying duties as Operating Engineer, and support the Senior Manager Maintenance-Rotary.

Responsibilities
- Review the work and resources allocated.
- Inform Senior Manager Maintenance Rotary of performed work and advise of impeding service disruption.
- Define priorities of work and ensure efficiency of allocated staff.
- Ensure completed documentation and certifications of maintenance work.
- Report and compile technical reports.
- Perform flying duties as the “Operating Engineer”.
- Debrief responsible staff to ensure defects are defined and recorded.
- Exercise the role as Organization Representative on site during subcontracted layovers.
- Effect special projects.
- Support Senior Manager Maintenance Rotary in regards to their duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or apprenticeship in Technical Profession equivalent to bachelor’s degree or holder of a Part 66 License.
- Five years as LAE (B1 or B2 or both).
- Helicopter Maintenance Engineering License.
- Comprehensive aviation knowledge of Helicopters.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to make clear, rational decisions under pressure.
- Good communications, interpersonal and negotiating skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under demanding operational environments.
