About the Role
Ohana Development is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Associate to support the legal function with contract review, legal documentation, and administrative legal matters. The role involves reviewing and drafting contracts, coordinating legal requests, and maintaining document management systems.

Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and support negotiation of standard and intermediate level contracts, agreements, amendments, and legal documentation
- Assist with the preparation and review of NDAs, service agreements, vendor contracts, consultancy agreements, and internal legal documents
- Identify legal and commercial risks and escalate complex matters to senior legal stakeholders
- Support contract amendments, renewals, extensions, and variations to existing agreements
- Ensure legal documents comply with approved templates, company policies, and applicable legal requirements
- Act as the first point of coordination for legal requests across entities
- Receive, assess, prioritize, and track legal requests based on business urgency and legal risk
- Maintain visibility over legal matters, approvals, and key deadlines to ensure timely resolution
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect supporting documentation and required information
- Support engagement and coordination with external legal counsel as directed
- Maintain organized legal records, contract repositories, and document management systems
- Prepare legal summaries, trackers, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent)
- 1–3 years of relevant experience within a corporate legal department and/or reputable law firm
- Hands on exposure to contract review, legal drafting, and corporate legal documentation
- Prior UAE legal or corporate experience with familiarity of local business practices and regulatory environment
- Strong attention to detail with high standards of document accuracy and quality
- Basic to intermediate contract review, drafting, and issue spotting capability
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong legal administration, document control, and record management capabilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross functional teams

Role Overview
- The Legal Associate will support the legal function across Ohana Development and AISO by providing hands on assistance with contract review, legal documentation, and administrative legal matters.
- The role focuses on intermediate level contract support, prioritization of legal requests, and maintaining strong document management and record keeping practices.

Key Responsibilities
