Lead Quality Assurance Engineer - Network Operations

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Design and implement quality engineering practices for teams within an agile release train.
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into robust end-to-end business-process tests.
• Coordinate testing of cross-dependencies with other release train teams.
• Configure test tools and metrics collection for programme and enterprise dashboards.
• Guide engineers in maintaining automated functional tests through continuous integration.
• Build and adapt automation frameworks and test harnesses for end-to-end testing.
• Ensure quality gate requirements are understood and met.
• Support major delivery initiatives across multiple domains and environments.
• Support team development, training, and understanding of technologies and processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or relevant equivalent experience, is required.
• An iSQI Certified Agile Tester certification is listed as a qualification.
• At least 5 years of information technology experience is required.
• Experience leading software quality engineering for multiple products is required.
• At least 3 years using one or more listed test automation tools is required.
• Experience with Git SCM tools and at least two programming languages is required.
• Experience developing UI and API automation frameworks and integrating them with CI pipelines is required.
• Strong context-driven and exploratory testing expertise is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with virtual machines and containers in on-premises or cloud environments is preferred.
• Awareness of current testing and technology trends is preferred.
• Experience in airline operations, crew management, rostering, or other real-time high-dependency domains is strongly preferred.
