Job purpose
Assist aircraft technicians and licensed aircraft engineers with Emirates and third-party aircraft maintenance in accordance with GCAA regulations.
Emirates Engineering supports Airbus and Boeing aircraft and third-party airline contracts from its maintenance facility in Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Assist with aircraft fuel handling, wheels and brakes servicing, nitrogen recharging, and engine servicing.
- Perform basic support servicing and component replacements under licensed engineer supervision.
- Inspect equipment before use and report faults for repair.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and Ultramain systems in the workplace.
- Follow safety precautions and keep the working area clean and obstruction-free.
- Clean aircraft and engine parts according to approved manual specifications.
- Assist during pushback operations.
- Assist with snag rectification and component changes using special tools.
Qualification
- Vocational, National, or Higher National Diploma, or apprenticeship, in mechanical, electronic, avionics, or aeronautical engineering, or equivalent approved training.
- Experience in an engineering environment is preferred.
- Full awareness of safety procedures is required.
