Lead Quality Assurance Engineer - Mobile Applications

Job Purpose

Responsibilities

• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into robust end-to-end tests covering business processes.
• Coordinate testing of cross-dependencies with other release train teams.
• Configure test tools to collect metrics for program and enterprise dashboards.
• Guide software engineers in maintaining automated functional tests through continuous integration.
• Maintain automation frameworks and test harnesses for robust end-to-end testing.
• Ensure quality gate requirements are understood and met.
• Support major delivery initiatives across multiple domains and environments.
• Support team development, training, and understanding of technologies and processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of quality engineering experience with complex, scalable software solutions.
• Experience leading and mentoring QA engineers and driving quality across the SDLC.
• Strong expertise in iOS and Android mobile application testing, mobile web, and design systems validation.
• Experience with at least one modern UI testing framework.
• Proficiency in Swift or Kotlin, with both preferred, plus working knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing, test data management, Agentic AI, and intelligent test selection.

Technical Skills

• Hands-on mobile accessibility testing covering WCAG, screen readers, labels, contrast, and usability.
• API automation testing for REST or GraphQL using tools such as Postman, REST-assured, or contract testing tools.
• CI/CD pipeline experience including test integration, parallel execution, and failure analysis.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and mobile device farms such as Sauce Labs.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and design systems using tools such as Figma.
