About the Role

Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement quality engineering practices and processes for teams within an agile release train
- Work closely with project members, technical product owners, architects and software engineers to translate requirements into robust end to end tests
- Liaise with other release train teams to manage testing of cross dependencies
- Ensure Test Tools are configured correctly to support collection of metrics for dashboards
- Support and guide Software Engineers to write and maintain automated functional tests through continuous integration
- Implement, maintain and adapt automation frameworks and test harnesses
- Ensure Quality Gate requirements are understood by the team and met
- Support Principal Quality Assurance Engineer with coordination of major delivery initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience in quality engineering roles building complex software solutions
- Strong expertise in mobile application testing (iOS & Android), mobile web, and design systems validation
- Hands on experience with modern UI testing frameworks: XCUITest, Snapshot testing (Prefire) for iOS; Jetpack Compose Testing, Snapshot testing (Paparazzi) for Android
- Proficiency in Swift or Kotlin (both preferred) and working knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience with API automation testing (REST/GraphQL) using Postman, REST assured and Contract testing (e.g., Pact)
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) including test integration, parallel execution, and failure analysis
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and mobile device farms (Sauce Labs or similar)

Job Purpose

- The role ensures adoption of modern delivery practices for quality products and services.
Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
