Lead Project Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept and business case development through operational handover and continuous operations.
• Ensure delivery is safe, on time, within scope, and within approved budgets.
• Provide strategic direction and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and reporting frameworks.
• Monitor milestones and implement corrective actions.
• Manage clients, consultants, contractors, regulatory authorities, and senior leadership.
• Lead governance meetings, steering committees, and executive reporting.
• Mitigate risks and issues through contingency and recovery planning.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor project managers and team members.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality, regulatory, and operational requirements.
• Oversee ORAT planning and readiness activities for successful transition and handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, master's degree, engineering degree, or equivalent qualification.
• PMP, PRINCE2, PMI Construction Professional Certification, or equivalent project management certification.
• 10–15 years of overall project management experience.
• Experience delivering complex projects valued at USD 50M–100M or more, or equivalent.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders, interfaces, and cross-functional teams.
• Delivery of at least two complete end-to-end project lifecycles through ORAT and operational handover.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in airports, live operational environments, or major infrastructure projects.
• Middle East regional experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, and BIM platforms.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
