Lead Procurement Analyst

Job Purpose

Job Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities from RFP development through supplier selection and contract signature.
• Execute sourcing strategy and report purchasing requests to the supervising director.
• Evaluate and classify purchasing requests and assign them to purchasing analysts.
• Manage SLAs for tendered and non-tendered change orders and supplier spend categories.
• Track supply market trends and provide input on supplier supply and financial risks.
• Develop segmentation criteria and map the supply base to desired relationship types.
• Manage and update the supplier catalogue.
• Lead procurement synergies with other subsidiaries and coordinate implementation.
• Manage business cases, including cross-functional resources, timeframes, and targets.
• Analyze historical demand and consumption data and track deviations.
• Oversee business planning with the Procurement Head and prioritize sourcing initiatives.
• Supervise purchasing requirements and project specifications with unit management and suppliers.

Experience and Education

• Four to six years of experience is required.
• Prior purchasing, procurement operations, and contract management experience in the telecommunications industry is required.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• A master's degree in Business Administration or Engineering is listed as additional education.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, supply chain concepts, and technology products.
• Strong knowledge of RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes, vendor selection, and negotiation.
• Analytical, problem-solving, planning, scheduling, vendor management, and interpersonal skills.
• People management, business acumen, market knowledge, and cultural intelligence.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and contribute innovative solutions.
• Knowledge of relevant external service providers for procurement.

Certifications

• Certified International Procurement Professional (CIPP).
• Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM).
• CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply.
