About the Role

Responsibilities
- Provide professional leadership and guidance for pharmacy services
- Oversee medication management processes and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
- Support the procurement, storage, inventory control, and distribution of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies
- Review and optimize medication use practices to enhance patient safety and quality of care
- Develop, implement, and maintain pharmacy policies, procedures, and protocols
- Provide clinical pharmacy advice and support to healthcare professionals
- Assist with audits, quality improvement initiatives, and accreditation requirements
- Support staff training, mentoring, and professional development
- Liaise with suppliers, regulatory authorities, and healthcare stakeholders as required
- Prepare reports and recommendations related to pharmacy operations and service improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
- Current pharmacist registration/license in the country of practice
- Minimum 10+ years of pharmacy experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities in hospital
- Strong knowledge of medication safety, pharmacy operations, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Experience working in remote, rural, island, or resource limited healthcare environments will be highly regarded
- Only hospital experience is preferred

Job Summary
