Position Summary

The role seeks a hands-on Senior Software Developer with expertise in modern application development, distributed architectures, and data-driven systems.

The developer will design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications while collaborating across business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
  • Build RESTful APIs and distributed services using multithreading, asynchronous programming, and distributed architecture patterns.
  • Maintain data access layers, optimize SQL queries, and support database-intensive workloads.
  • Support and modernize WinForms and WPF desktop applications.
  • Integrate external systems, APIs, messaging platforms, and data services.
  • Participate in architecture, design, code reviews, and production support.

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong experience with .NET Core or ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, multithreading, concurrent programming, distributed systems, async/await, and object-oriented design.
  • Strong Node.js experience is required.
  • Strong SQL query development and optimization experience is required.
  • Experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, or another relational database is required as one of the listed database alternatives.

Preferred Skills

  • React.js experience is a plus.
  • Python, Apache Kafka, event-streaming platforms, cloud-native and microservices architecture, CI/CD, and DevOps experience are preferred or advantageous.
  • Sigma Computing experience is an added advantage.

Professional Competencies

  • Be self-directed, execution-focused, analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Communicate effectively and work across organizational levels while maintaining ownership and accountability.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience is required.
  • The posting requests 6 or more years of enterprise software development experience but also encourages talented junior candidates.
  • Proven experience delivering and supporting business-critical applications and services is required.
