We’re Hiring: Senior / Lead Methods Engineer –
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop offshore installation methodologies for subsea structures, pipelines, umbilicals, and related assets
- Prepare engineering deliverables including procedures, method statements, lift plans, rigging studies, and installation analyses
- Support project execution during offshore campaigns and vessel operations
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, and offshore personnel
- Perform feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical reviews
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and HSE requirements
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Naval Architecture, Offshore, or related Engineering discipline
- Extensive offshore T&I engineering experience with strong subsea installation exposure
- Proven experience in deepwater offshore projects
- Strong understanding of offshore installation vessels, lifting operations, and subsea construction methods
- Experience with engineering analysis tools and offshore design standards
- Ability to lead technical discussions and interface with clients
- Offshore experience and willingness to support offshore campaigns is preferred
Preferred Skills
- Experience in SURF, rigid/flexible pipelines, or subsea structures installation
- Familiarity with OrcaFlex, SACS, ANSYS, or similar engineering software
- Strong communication and leadership skills
