Jex Recruitment is hiring a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join a high-growth AI Lab in Abu Dhabi.
The role involves designing, developing, and deploying advanced machine learning solutions at scale.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role for an experienced ML Engineer who can take models from research and experimentation through to production, while helping shape engineering standards and mentor other members of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of production-grade machine learning systems.
- Build and optimize ML models across a range of AI use cases.
- Own the full ML lifecycle, from experimentation and model development through to deployment and monitoring.
- Design scalable ML pipelines and infrastructure for training and inference.
- Work closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Software Engineers, and Product teams.
- Drive best practices across MLOps, model performance, testing, and production reliability.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers within the team.
- Evaluate new models, frameworks, and technologies and introduce them where appropriate.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in machine learning, software engineering, or related technical roles.
- Strong Python development skills.
- Experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and modern AI architectures.
- Experience building scalable ML pipelines and working with large datasets.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience designing production-grade systems.
- Previous experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI or a related field.
