Role Purpose
The Lead HSE (Project) role ensures compliance with established safety and environmental policies and procedures.
The role supports project HSE operations, internal capability development, governance, and team performance.
Project HSE Responsibilities
- Prepare and implement project safety and emergency plans or programs.
- Monitor HSE orientation for new project employees.
- Review method statements and ensure risk assessments are completed.
- Ensure HSE compliance during site setup and mobilization.
- Monitor toolbox meetings, HSE awareness sessions, and training.
- Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions.
- Prepare and schedule emergency drills.
- Review hazard identification, risk assessments, and recommended controls.
- Review safety data sheets and ensure requirements are followed.
- Ensure approved material handling and storage practices.
- Prepare project HSE lessons-learned reports.
