TESTING & COMMISSION MANAGER

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Select, manage, and retain MEP testing and commissioning engineers and improve the function’s effectiveness.
• Support succession planning, employee career growth, organizational structure, and development of KSA national employees.
• Track team KPIs and implement initiatives to improve performance, policies, processes, systems, and procedures.
• Coordinate with Finance, Human Resources, Commercial, QHSE, Communications, and Technical Services.
• Chair testing and commissioning reviews, conduct workshops, and coordinate responses with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Issue testing and commissioning documentation to the client and monitor requirements, achievements, risks, inspections, and compliance.
• Review subcontractor methods of work, identify training needs, maintain project records, and remain current with safety legislation.

Qualifications

• Degree in either electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Multidiscipline experience or expertise in heavy construction works.
• 12 to 15 years of related work experience in construction or engineering.
• Knowledge of codes of practice, international standards, local regulations, environmental regulations, and construction safety management.
• Knowledge of project controls, tendering, planning, computer applications, and crisis management.
• Management, delegation, team leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
