Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing tasks in accordance with component maintenance manual procedures
- Complete component replacement and other maintenance activities as directed
- Effectively use specialized tooling or test equipment for checking, testing, replacement, or servicing
- Communicate and liaise with other areas over technical issues
- Maintain safety of self and others by taking precautions and keeping work area clean
- Complete maintenance and servicing activities for the Academy's fleet
- Assist in recovery of AOG across EFTA operation
- Support line operation of EFTA aircraft as required
Requirements
- Experience in aircraft maintenance
- Ability to obtain and understand Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) and Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC)
- Knowledge of specialized tooling and test equipment

Job Overview
- Emirates Engineering is one of the world's most technologically advanced aircraft maintenance facilities.
- We are GCAA CAR V approved, and support the world's largest fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft.
- As Lead Aircraft Mechanic you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance tasks on Emirates and third party aircraft components in accordance with laid down procedures and regulations.
- The Lead Aircraft Mechanic will work as part of a team under the direction and guidance of the assigned Licensed Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing tasks as required in accordance with component maintenance manual procedures, observing all safety procedures and manufacturers/company regulations.
- Complete any component replacement and other maintenance activities as directed by immediate supervisor.
- Effectively use any specialised tooling or test equipment that may be required as part of the checking, testing, replacement or servicing of a system or component.
- Communicate at various levels and liaise with other areas over technical issues for all relevant parties to be aware of the aircrafts serviceability status.
- Understand of the company documentation where it is required that mechanics sign for tasks action on routine documentation to ensure the maintenance of tools, equipment and systems (including ultramain) in the relevant workplace.
- Maintain and ensure the safety of self and others by taking safety precautions at all times, continuously monitoring the working area and taking corrective action to keep it clean and obstruction free to avoid any accidents.
- Complete maintenance and servicing activities for the Academy's fleet in order to directly contribute to the safety and airworthiness of the academy's operation.
- Assist in the recovery of an AOG across EFTA operation including diversionary airfields.
- Support the line operation of EFTA aircraft as required by operational needs to ensure the training programme is maintained and that aircraft are clean and prepared for departure.
