- Safely operate steam presses, ironing machines, and finishing equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Apply the correct temperature, pressure, and pressing method for various materials, from delicate silks to heavy cottons.
- Inspect items before and after pressing to identify stains, damage, or imperfections, ensuring only top quality items are delivered.
- Follow all safety protocols and hygiene standards to maintain a clean, hazard free work environment.
- Work closely with the Laundry team to maintain smooth operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in 5* luxury hotel in the same role.
- Full understanding of different textiles and their proper care.
- Knowledge of various pressing instructions and advanced pressing techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read, speak and understand English language.
- A positive and friendly attitude towards guests and fellow employees.
