Job Overview
- Handle washing, dry cleaning, and pressing according to procedures established by the Laundry Manager.
- Safely and carefully use laundry chemicals, solvents, and spotting chemicals as instructed.
- Mark all items for laundering with attention to room numbers and sequences.
Responsibilities
- Report any stained or torn items, items left in pockets, or jewelry found on clothing to supervisors before cleaning.
- Ensure specific instructions are followed perfectly, such as folding trousers, using light starch, or folding shirts.
- Weigh laundry prior to loading and maintain all equipment in a proper state of cleanliness.
- Attend daily briefings and carry out valet services as needed, including the delivery of linen.
- Keep the working area clean, organized, and professional at all times.
