Responsibilities
- Perform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations
- Interface with client and contractors to determine and verify project survey requirements
- Complete surveying requirements on schedule and within budget
- Check setting out and levels, and ensure protection of services locations
- Prepare sketches to support field work and maintain survey information
- Measure work done when required
- Verify and routinely check control points and bench marks
- Record initial and final levels of works
- Assist in preparation of 'as built' drawings and review record drawings
- Participate in health and safety issues at site as required
- Review drawings and documents related to the works
Requirements
- Diploma/Associate degree in Land Surveying or equivalent
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Infrastructure, roads and utilities projects
- Knowledge and/or experience in using CAD software and survey software, total station, data collectors and GPS equipment
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- Must be available in the UAE with recent UAE work experience, particularly Abu Dhabi
- ADM/DMT experience preferred; relevant approvals/license are a plus

Job Description
- Parsons is seeking a highly talented Land Surveyor to join our team in Abu Dhabi.
- Support construction supervision activities for major infrastructure and stormwater projects.
- Responsible for accurate setting out, verification, measurements, and survey documentation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations.
- Interface with client and contractors to determine and verify project survey requirements.
- Complete surveying requirements on schedule and within man hour and cost budgets.
- Check setting out and levels. Check services locations and ensure their protection.
- Prepare sketches to support field work. Maintain all survey information.
- Measure work done when required.
- Verification & routine checks of control points and bench marks.
- Recording of initial and final levels of works.
- Assist in preparation of 'as built' drawings. Review of 'as built' record drawings.
- Act positively and participate in all health and safety issues at site.
- Review drawings and documents related to the works.
What Required Skills You'll Bring

- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Infrastructure, roads and utilities projects.
