Role Overview
FIVE Hotels and Resorts is hiring a Kitchen Technician to join its Engineering Team as a tradesman.
The role supports kitchen and laundry equipment across the company’s luxury hotel and lifestyle destinations.
Compensation
- The position offers a fixed monthly salary of AED 2,300.
Qualifications
- Applicants must have 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel or healthcare environment in the UAE.
- Applicants must have extensive knowledge and experience in refrigeration systems, kitchen equipment maintenance, and laundry equipment maintenance.
- The role requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing and walking.
- The role requires autonomous working, proactive technical problem-solving, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ownership, and a hands-on attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair kitchen and laundry equipment and perform preventive maintenance and shift readings.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment while identifying solutions that minimize downtime.
- Evaluate equipment usage and energy efficiency and optimize performance and energy consumption.
