Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of kitchen and dining areas for culinary operations.
Support kitchen hygiene, equipment care, food-service preparation, and safe waste handling.
Key responsibilities
- Clean, organize, and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, workspaces, dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools.
- Clean and polish silverware, glassware, and chinaware.
- Assist with inventory of kitchen and dining equipment.
- Remove garbage and waste from kitchen areas promptly.
- Support food preparation and setup for meal services.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness in food storage areas.
- Coordinate with stewarding supervisors and managers and report damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
- Set up and clean up kitchen and dining areas for service.
Required standards
- Adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards in kitchen and dining areas.
- Follow safety guidelines and company environmental, health, and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, managers, and the culinary team.
- Operate safely and in an environmentally friendly manner to protect guests, colleagues, and the environment.
