Responsibilities
- Wash, peel, cut, chop, and prepare vegetables and fruits according to recipes and kitchen standards
- Prepare a variety of fresh salads, dressings, and garnishes
- Ensure proper portioning and presentation of all cold food items
- Assist in preparing buffet displays and salad stations
- Check the freshness and quality of vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients before use
- Maintain consistency in taste, appearance, and portion sizes
- Follow HACCP and food safety standards at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas
- Store vegetables, fruits, and prepared items at correct temperatures
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to supervisors
- Rotate stock using FIFO procedures
- Minimize food waste through proper handling and storage
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Culinary Certificate preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in a cold kitchen, salad section, or food preparation role
- Knowledge of vegetable, salad, and fruit preparation techniques
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work as part of a team

Requirements
- High School Diploma or Culinary Certificate preferred

- Experience in hotels, restaurants, catering, or hospitality industry preferred
- Knowledge of vegetable, salad, and fruit preparation techniques
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
