Responsible for assisting with food preparation, cooking, kitchen operations, and maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare food ingredients according to café recipes and standards.
- Assist with cooking and food preparation.
- Maintain proper portion control and food presentation.
- Ensure food is stored correctly and safely.
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
- Monitor food expiry dates and minimize wastage.
- Assist with receiving and storing kitchen supplies.
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods.
- Follow instructions from the Kitchen Supervisor/Manager.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, hotel, or commercial kitchen preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Valid Food Handling Certificate – MANDATORY.
Pay: QAR1.00 per month
